Posted on 09 April 2011 by Tan Yong Ming

In today’s world, there is great controversy over the subject of game systems in the home because many kids are so inactive. The fact is that a great gaming system can actually be very beneficial. However, it will depend on which system you choose. If you are on the lookout to purchase a system for your home, the following are three great reasons to choose the Xbox 360:

One of the best things about the Xbox 360 is that it has the capacity to produce a much closer family. Unlike other game systems, this one comes with individual profiles, which means that each member of your family can have their own profile. This actually means that no one in your family is ever going to lose their saved games and it can make playing against each other for highest score more fun.

Of course, you also have to consider how many options there are for this particular system. If you purchase the Kinect Sensor, you actually get to be the controller yourself. The wireless headset can allow you to play games as though you are in the game. Connecting to people through Xbox Live, you can play against your friends and family members. These are just a few accessories you will want to consider.

Additionally, it does not matter that some of your family members may not be technologically inclined. They will still be able to have a lot of fun on it. Unlike other systems, you don’t have to have a lot of skills to use it or the accessories. It’s easy to hook up and the only risk you are taking is the risk of having too much fun.

The process of choosing a system should not be hard, as the Xbox 360 has so many great features and benefits. A home that has one is sure to be the home that everyone wants to hang out at and you may just find it is the perfect thing for family game night.

Some Top Nintendo Emulater Software

Posted on 06 April 2010 by Don Stola

Remember when you were a kid, your first Nintendo game? Have video games ever been quite so exciting? Something about the two color character graphics, the chiptune, chirps-and-beeps music. It was VIDEO GAMES! Not to say that the Xbox and the Playstation and the DS and the Wii and everything else that’s come since don’t have their own incredible games, but there was just something ABOUT those NES games, something that you can’t get with 3D graphics and orchestrated soundtracks, and that’s why people always come back to the Nintendo emulator to relive the glory days…

Top Windows Emulator

There are a lot of top Nintendo emulators for the PC right now. A lot of these emulators succeed at pretty much running any game you could want to play perfectly, including some weird, unlicensed bootlegs. You know, those weird Chinese bootleg versions of fighting games?

OS X

Mac OSX has always been difficult to find emulators for, so thankfully, many of the most popular PC emulators have been ported to the system, and most of them work just as perfectly as the PC versions, providing near perfect compatibility for the entirety of your NES ROM collection.

Nintendo Wii

The best emulator on the Wii is, of course, the Virtual Console. The only problem with the Virtual Console is that Nintendo decides which games are released and which aren’t, so while all the big games are released for download sooner or later, some of your favorite cult classics might just get the cold shoulder. Find a good third party backup emulator for when Nintendo slacks off.

The Playstation Portable

PSP, while being a Sony licensed product, has a handful of great emulators with really efficient organizer systems, that play any game you want to play just fine. Look around and see which one works best.

If you want to learn about how to start hacking game consoles, you need to see the Information we have in store for you. In order to mod wii console, you need certain software that allows the modding to work.

A New Chapter For One Of The Most Popular Final Fantasy Titles

Posted on 19 November 2009 by Patrick Daniels

Final Fantasy VII (FFVII) is by far one of the most popular Final Fantasy titles ever. Anyone who had the pleasure of playing this game on the original Play Station has been waiting for Square Enix to release a sequel. In order to please the fans there was a computer animated movie released in 2005, FFVII: Advent Children, which was a sequel to the game, but there has never been another FFVII game, until now.

Square Enix has finally answered the call of Final Fantasy VII fans, somewhat. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII is a new game for the Play Station Portable, but it is not a sequel to Final Fantasy VII, it is a prequel. If you are a fan of Final Fantasy VII, I am sure you know have many questions about the game, for instance is it good, how is the quality on the Play Station Portable, how is the story connected? Rest assured, your questions will be answered.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII has received outstanding reviews from gamers and critics. The graphics and game play on the Play Station Portable are also terrific. Whether you are a hardcore fan of the original Final Fantasy VII, or are new to the Final Fantasy franchise, you will soon become immersed in the world, and enthralled by the excellent story. If you have a Play Station Portable this is definitely a title that is worth picking up, and if you are a Final Fantasy fan it is a must own.

It is not your traditional RPG. There is no level grinding and it is not turned based. You only play with one character at a time, Zack, the unknown hero form Final Fantasy VII. Without giving too much away of the story, there are plenty of returning characters and everybody’s favorite bad boy-Sepheroth. The story revolves around Zack and even though those of us who played the original game know exactly how this new game will end, even though it is heartbreaking and we dread the end, the way it comes about is unknown and surprising. There are plenty of twists and turns along the way.

This is an outstanding game that will help provide additional details about the events leading up to the original Final Fantasy VII. The only complaint about this game is that the process to increase your characters level is random, and not as fully developed as some of the other Final Fantasy titles. Aside from that one issue this is a great game that will you enjoy playing for many hours.

The gaming world has taking over the entertainment department in many peoples lives. Whether you are a Sony fan or a Nintendo fan you should go to www.cdwow.com. They offer a wide gaming selection from new ps3 games to the best ds games around.
