With regard to Final Fantasy XIII. The reviews show that developers keep the same gaming platform just the same as old Final Fantasy XII but this time, more twists has been added to make the tactical commanding base battle entertaining at the same time. There are a number of changes that has been done to improve the gameplay and this includes the ability of characters to chain combos and cause an enemy to be on an “exhausted” state wherein the enemy stands helpless and takes damage twice the normal amount. This time, the player controls Chris Redfield, a recurring protagonist of the series along with a new Sheva Alomar, with the same over-the-shoulder point of view. Aside from the multiplayer format, there are more weapons included but unlike before, the weapons can be equipped while on the field instead of pausing the game and gaining access from the inventory.
